FMAudit is a small piece of software that needs to be installed on a computer that has access to the network or can be installed on a server as well. The software runs as a service in the background and will scan by IP address and send the meters from your networked devices to our Central site

1. What is the eXpressMeter team?
The eXpressMeter team consist of a team of trained professionals that is part of the eCommerce department. They are skilled in helping you install and setup the program on your network and answer any questions you might have. You can meet the team on their profile page.
2. What is the Meter Collection team?
The Meter Collection team is part of the Customer Care department. They will contact you to collect your meter reads in the event your device stopped reporting automatically.
3. How can the program help me?
Ultimately we respect your time and busy schedule and our goal is to automate the meter reading process for you. So many clients requested not to be called by the Meter Collection department and we can eliminate that necessary step by installing the software on your networked devices.
4. How does the program work?
By offering a small secure program called FMAudit™ completely free of charge, Dahill can now automate and simplify meter collections for our existing customers. This action reduce manual intervention and help to deliver accurate results. The program identifies networked printers, copiers and MFP's using the Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP). In a matter of minutes a snapshot of identified networked devices are created and the encrypted data is sent securely and directly to our application at pre-set intervals.
The program automatically detects changes to your devices on the network and will register them, saving you the effort of additions and eliminations. With the interactive reporting tool that includes actual device information, you will have instant access, historical and status information that will include device locations, serial numbers and copies made or printed.
FMAudit is the only solution of its kind to extract information from one or multiple networked printers attached to any Windows port type, such as USB, parallel, blue tooth or infrared.
5. What are the minimum requirements to install the program onsite?
FMAudit Onsite v2.x.x requires the following minimum configuration:
MDAC 2.6 or higher (Included in Windows XP or higher,Download MDAC update now)
Jet 4.0 (Included in Windows XP or higher,Download Jet update now)
Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 (provided in Windows Update)
Microsoft Windows 2000 or Higher

6. How can I get the eXpress Meter Software installed?
The first step is to fill out the eXpressMeters form from the Dahill web site. Shortly after a Dahill specialist will contact you. With the help of a Dahill eCommerce specialist they can walk you through the install which is a simple point and click operation. The second option ,which requires even less work on your part, is to allow one of our Dahill eCommerce specialists to remotely connect to your computer with our “remote support” - they will explain to you what they’re doing and you can end the remote support at any time.
7. How much ongoing maintenance does the program require?
FMAudit Onsite is a service which runs in the background and performs audits and exports to our database on predefined schedules. We set the system to use subnets (IP ranges) instead of fixed IP’s
so that when adding new devices to the network, they can either be discovered with your permission or excluded depending on your instructions.
8. How long does the installation take?
Installing your eXpressMeters on average only takes about 10 to 15 minutes of your day so that you will never have to spend time collecting meters readings from your networked devices. Installation can be done in the two ways listed above but for a quicker cleaner install it is recommend that you allow our team to share your desktop and install the eXpressMeter software for you.
